Thursday, October 11, 1962

Clem Phillips passed away after suffering a stroke on Thursday in Minneapolis.

Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Erpestad have adopted a three-month old son who will make his home with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Anderson are the parents of a daughter, born October 6th. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hager are the grandparents.

Osborne Clothing is extending the Red Letter Days sale for an additional 10 days.

Lanoue's Recreation open 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. six days a week and 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Red Owl in Fulda offering 2 lb can of coffee for 99; Northern 12 roll pack for 95; and Ground Beef 2 lbs for 89.

Mrs. Ray Kramer has been named the chairmen for the Friendship Drive for Retarded Children.

Fulda homecoming to be held on Friday evening with game Walnut Grove.

Game and Fish Club to meet October 22nd.

Isabel Beeck was honored at a bridal shower at the Fulda City Hall on Sunday afternoon. Miss Beeck will be married to Larry Koster on October 19th.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Beltz and family are now settled in the John Schedecker home.

Thursday, Otcober 14, 1982

An end of an era took place in Dundee on Saturday when the Legler Grocery Store was sold piece by piece at an all day auction. Lyle Legler closed the business this past summer after eight years. It was previously a cooperative managed by Bud Nelson for 51 years.

Silke Noess, Heist, West Germany is excited to make her home with the Totzke family for this school year. Tim Totzke and his wife, Corrine, along with their children Mark, Ann and Amy are delighted with Silke.

The Fulda Raiders football team ran over the Adrian Dragons in a 20-0 victory led by the defense's four pass interceptions, two fumble recoveries and five quarterback sacks.

Oscar F. Pederson passed away on October 7th at the age of 85 years old.

Fredrick B. Schmidt passed away on October 1st at the age of 64 years old.

Wednesday, October 7, 1992

Harvest is finally in full swing. Our neighbors to the east, Fairmont, New Ulm and Jackson, were in the fields over a week earlier than Murray County farmers due to the cooler weather and higher elevation.

The Fulda Hotel was torn down and removed by Beeck Sand and Gravel this week.

The Dickson house is scheduled for demolition with in the month. John Marshall Dickson and his wife, Esther, built the home at the turn of the century.

Minnie Ommen is honored as Resident of the Month at Maple Lawn Nursing Home.

The Fulda Public Schools has rejoined the Minnesota Academic Excellence League promoting and providing organized academic challenges.

Audrey martin and Michael Galm were united in marriage on August 13th.

Jill Vlastuin and Brian Koopman were united in marriage on July 25th at First Baptist Church in Worthington.

Citizens of Tomorrow include Paul, Christine, and Tony Clauson; Lucas, Lance and Laura Kramer, and Christopher, Nicholas, and Andrew Henning.

Jeff and Jenny Town are the parents of a boy, Jared Jeffery born September 22nd.

Irene Simmons passed away on September 25th at the age of 69 years old after suffering from ALS for many years.

Patricia R. Johnson was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of State Fund Mutual Insurance Co.
