Raiders lose to Mountain Lake Area 35-6 Zach Holt returned the opening kickoff to the 35 yard line.

Raiders had to punt and the Wolverines took over at their own 38 yard line.

Fulda took over on downs. Trevor Ruesch got handed the ball and ran 60 yards into the end zone for 6.

To begin the second quarter Wolverines scored a 2 yard touchdown at 11:58. Their two point conversion was good.

Raiders got the ball on their own 28 yard line. Raiders moved the ball down field but it got tipped on a pass and Wolverines took over.

With 8:20 to go Mountain Lake Area scored 8 more points and then only 6 points at 6:14 left.

Trevor Ruesch returned the kick to the 24 yard line. Zach Holt had a nice 10 yard gain.

The ball went back and forth between the two teams until 5:42 in the third quarter when the Wolverines scored 6.

Trevor Ruesch had a nice kick return of 20 yards. Zach Holt had an amazing 77 yard run down to the Wolverine 2 yard line. Raiders went all four downs and couldn't score.

In the fourth quarter; Raiders had to punt and one of Mountain Lake Area's players dropped the ball and Jared Smith just plowed over the receiver and recovered the ball.

At 3:34 Trevor Ruesch recovered a fumble at the 28 yard line.

Mountain Lake Area took over on down at the 22 yard line. Wolverines scored a 6 yard run touchdown at 1:57. Mountain Lake Area kicked the extra point which was good.

The ball ended in the Raiders hands on the Fulda 25 yard line.

Wednesday night's first 9-man football game started out with Raider Zach Holt returning the ball to the 38 yard line.

Raiders were soon held up and the defense had to go to work. Matthew Thier and Thomas Salentiny blocked the punt from WWG to get the ball at the 20 yard line.

Late in the first quarter Trevor Ruesch caught an interception and ran for 31 long yards; tip-toeing out of bounce.

At 11:01 in the second quarter Zach Holt caught an 8 yard pass in the end zone for the first touchdown of the night. John Getting gained the two point conversion.

WWG answered back with a touchdown and two point conversion with only 0.56 seconds left in the half.

Raiders quickly wanted the ball back and gain the lead. John Getting caught a 27 yard pass from Todd Peterson. Zach Holt got the Raiders down to the 21 yard line by catching a 19 yard pass. Then the buzzer shot off and it was time to get recuperated.

In the third quarter at 7:13 Mason Trejo intercepted the ball at the 35 yard line to give the Raiders leverage. Nathan Getting caught a nice pass to gain a first down and keep the Raiders moving up field.

WWG had the ball to begin the fourth quarter. Raiders put up a battle making the Chargers take their 4th down to gain the 1 yard touchdown. WWG also made the two point conversion making the score WWG-16, Raiders-8.

Raiders returned the kick and started their offense. John Getting gained a first down with a pass from Todd Peterson. Mason Trejo added to the team effort with a catch of 15 yards. Zach Holt also had sticky fingers and connected with Todd Peterson with a gain of 30 yards. John Getting ran in the 10 yard touchdown at 9:34. He also got the two point conversion.

Late in the fourth quarter Raiders decided they didn't want to end the season just yet. Zach Holt made a huge play and gained 17 yards. Trevor Ruesch man powered through the Chargers defense for positive yardage. At 3:08 Zach Holt gained the much needed touchdown.

WWG tried really hard to defeat the Raiders and made it to the 15 yard line but couldn't over power the Raider defense.

Raiders will play C-G-B Saturday for the second round of playoffs.
