Thursday, November 8, 1962

Funeral services were held on Monday, November 5th for Mr. O. Schullenberg who passed away on November 2nd.

Mrs. Katherine Behr passed away on November 2nd in Litchfield, Minnesota. She was 76 years old.

Funeral services were held Saturday for Miles Howard Lowe, 67, who passed away on October 31st.

Friends here will be sorry to learn of the death of an old friend and fellow townsman, Isa (Slim) Slocum, who passed away on November 6th.

Officers were elected during a recent meeting of the Board of Directors of Maple Lawn Nursing Home.

Proclamation by Mayor Wordelman asks that all citizens of Fulda observe Sunday, November 11th, 1962 as Veterans Day for the year 1962.

Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Miranowski are the parents of a daughter born October 31st at the Worthington Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert Koopman are the parents of a daughter born Wednesday, October 31 at the Murray County Memorial Hospital at Slayton.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles McKenny are happy over the arrival of Charles John IV, born on October 30th.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kramer are the parents of a son born Monday at the Worthington Hospital.

Thursday, November 11, 1982

All State Band member Chad Wiener will be featured on the baritone sax at the Fulda Bandís Fall Concert on Thursday night.

A new terracing planting technique has been introduced in Nobles County. The terrace, one of three to be constructed on the Janet Stueve farm, was designed by Roy Krueger.

The Fulda Fire Department is asking that callers give detailed directions to a fire, especially when the fire is in a field or on a farm.

Carl Carlson retires from the Public Works Department and plans to take a trip to Arizona and California.

Kenneth Sumption passed away on November 4th after an illness of about 4 months. Mr. Sumption was 62 years old.

Midge Johlfs topped the charts in bowling with a 247 for the ladies while Harlan Boom rolled a 258 for the men.

Heather Uttech shares her letters with our readers from her pen pal from China, Kathy. Miss Uttech says she is learning a lot about the Chinese and their traditions through her correspondance with Kathy.

Polls at the Fulda City Hall opened with a flurry on Tuesday as City Clerk Dee Swan reported 247 voters by noon.

Nancy Jensen will display some of her wood crafts at this years Holiday Crafts Bazaar.

Vivian Michelau passed away on October 30th at the age of 71 years old.

Michelle Johansen and Kirk Honius exchange vows at First Presbyterian Church in Fulda with Rev. Kenneth Honius officiating on July 18th.

Karen Seaton and Gerald Kirchner announce their engagement. A December 5th wedding is being planned.

Dawn Germscheid and Lee Gass were united in marriage on August 29th with the Rev. Ken Honius officiating.

Loren Carlson is headed to the State Volleyball Tournament where he will act as an official.

Citizens of Tomorrow include Denise, Jackie, Bryce, and Lindsey Engen, Amy, Ann, Sara, and Laura Christensen, and Jamie, Brittany, Tyler, and Michelle Goedtke.
