| Fulda Food Shelf is now affiliated with Second Harvest |

The Fulda Food Shelf is now affiliated with Second Harvest Heartland which is the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger relief organization. Because of this, the Fulda Food Shelf will ask that those who are utilizing the service, for the first time since the new affiliation, to fill out new forms which will include an application, Data Privacy forms, and other forms that are requested by Second Harvest. Please bring two forms of identification when visiting the Food Fulda Shelf. The Fulda Food Shelf will still only be handling non-perishable items. Second Harvest Heartland provides food to community’s food shelves/pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other hunger relief programs at little or no cost. The majority of the food at Second Harvest Heartland is donated by grocers, manufacturers, producers/growers and even individuals. That is why Second Harvest Heartland is able to provide food to their partners at little or no cost. Second Harvest Heartland is a member of Feeding America, a national network of more than 200 food banks serving every state in the United States. |
