Notice is hereby given that the Regular Village Election of the Village of Fulda will be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in December 1962. On the ballot are the positions of Assessor, Trustee, Village Clerk, Justice of Peace and Constable.
Mr. Tom Probst, president of the Fulda Civic and Commerce announces that the Holiday Drawings program begins this Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Freetly received a telephone call on Thanksgiving from their son, Jerry, announcing his engagement to Miss Carmela Garofalo.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lehnhoff will note their Golden Wedding day with an open house on December 2nd.
Mrs. V. Brandt was laid to rest on November 24th at First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Vivian Brandt passed away on Monday at the age of 76 years old.
Mrs. Fred Brigger passed away from a heart ailment on Tuesday morning in Worthington. Ida Rosine Brigger was 48 years old at the time of her death.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Buschena are the parents of a daughter, Lori Ann, born on November 11th. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Ed Buschena.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Buschena are the parents of a son, Daniel, born November 20th. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Ed Buschena and Mr. and Mrs. Vic Kommes.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Odenbrett are the parents of a son, Christopher Todd, born Thanksgiving Day. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Odenbrett.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Chepa are the parents of a son, Kevin, born November 26th. Mr. and Mrs. William Chepa are the grandparents.
Fred Smith is still hospitalized after five weeks with a heart ailment.
Gary, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stock, had his left elbow fractured while at play at school on Monday.

The new Murray County Government Center on main street in Slayton is open for business and will host an open house on December 4th.
A bull moose has been wondering the area and has made it's way to the Marv Isder farm 5 1/2 miles north east of Fulda on Sunday. It was next spotted at the Allen Onken farm 3/4 mile north of Iona.
The Fulda Firemen were called to the Don Welling residence on Saturday when a snowmobile was reported on fire.
Joy Pudlitzke and Terry Olson were married August 21st.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dorpinghaus are the proud parents of a daughter, Sarah, born November 23rd. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Harold Flynn.
Dick and Wanda Winter announce the arrival of a girl, Dana, born November 15th. Grandparents include Mrs. Josie Winter and Mr. and Mrs. Art Mathias.

The Dundee Elevator and Hogan's Convenience Store were broken into last weekend. Authorities, at this time, have no leads or suspects, according to Dave Titus, manager of the Dundee Elevator. It is believed that the break-ins took place on Sunday morning.
Maple Lawn residents were busy these past few months making quilts for the Holiday bazaar.
Plans for Fulda Fantasy Days are in the making and wooden Christmas figures are popping up all over Fulda.
The Fulda Women of Today took on the Murray County Central cheerleaders in a frisky game of donkey basketball on November 17th. The event was sponsored by the Chemical Abuse Prevention Team.
