Eric Winters, Heron Lake, MN, has joined Asmus Farm Supply in Fulda as an agronomist. Winters is a 2001 graduate of Worthington High School. He attended two years of college at MinnesotaWest in Worthington and then graduated in 2006 from South Dakota State University-Brookings with an Agronomy Major. He also holds a Minor in Pest Management. Winters joined Country Pride, Bingham Lake, MN, as an agronomist following his college graduation. He joined Asmus Farm Supply in late November. “Here at Asmus Farm Supply, I am chiefly responsible for Pioneer Seed, custom seed treatments, and herbicide and plant protection sales. These responsibilites give me an interesting variety of tasks throughout theworkday,” Winters commented. Winters and his wife, Lori, have one two-year old daughter, Aubrey. They enjoy gardening, and fishing. Eric continues to help his dad and uncles on the family farm near Windom, MN. As preparations for the 2013 planting season are being made, Winters encourages area producers to stop in to meet and visit with him. |
