Tyler Scheier | 1991-TYLER SCHREIER-2012 |
|
Tyler Joseph Schreier, the son of Kevin and Joyce Kalas Schreier, was born on May 26, 1991 in Worthington, MN. He grew up on a farm north of Avoca, MN and attended Murray County Central schools, graduating in 2010. Tyler then attended Minnesota West in Granite Falls, MN and graduated with a degree in Auto body. While in high school Tyler worked at Jim's Market in Slayton and after college he worked at Scholtes Motors in Worthington doing bodywork and detailing. Tyler passed away as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday, December 27, 2012 the age of 21. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool, snowmobiling, playing cards and poker, playing PS3 and just hanging out with his friends. Survivors include his parents, Kevin and Joyce Schreier of Avoca, MN; sister, Jessica Schreier and her fiancée, Allan Morris of Pipestone, MN; nieces, Haleigh Schreier and Cheyanne Morris of Pipestone, MN; maternal grandparents, Larry (Henrietta) Kalas of Slayton, MN; paternal grandparents, David (Alice) Schreier of Currie, MN; paternal great-grandmother, Rosella Hoffrogge of Slayton, MN; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Clarence (Rena) VanderBush and Arnold (Loretta) Kalas, paternal great-grandparents, Arthur Hoffrogge and Joseph (Rosella) Schreier and uncle, Brian Schreier. Funeral Services were held at St. Ann's Church Slayton, MN at 2:00 PM on Monday December 31, 2012 with Fr. James Seitz and Rev. Jon Marburger officiating. The organist was Judy Andrews. The song leader was Tom Andrews. The pallbearers were Jesus Garza, Alex Kleve, Chad Schreier, Kyle Cochran, Todd Schreier, Kevin Schreier, Nathan Palaschak, Troy Schreier and Derek Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Haleigh Schreier, Cheyanne Morris and all of his cousins. Interment at Slayton Memorial Gardens Slayton, MN.
