| Peterson to conduct 9-10 Honors Band on Saturday |

Fulda Schools’ band instructor, Mike Peterson, will conduct the 9-10 Southwest Region of the Minnesota Band Directors Association Honor Band during its Saturday, January 19th, 4:30 p.m. performance which will be held at the Schwan Community Center for the Performing Arts at Marshall High School, Marshall, MN. The performance follows a day-long event of sectionals and rehearsals which begin at 8:30 a.m. 334 students from the region were nominated by twenty-eight regional band directors to participate in Honor Band. There is a middle school band (6-8th graders) and a high school honor band (9-10th graders). 44 schools will be represented by the 334 students. All students are selected to Honor Band based on the recommendation of the student’s band director. This is the sixth year for the Honor Band event. |
