BITUMINOUS OVERLAY, AGGREGATE SHOULDERS BIDS CLOSE MARCH 19, 2013 Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Murray County, Minnesota, at the Murray County Government Center, County Auditor, 2500 28th Street, Slayton, Minnesota 56172 until 10:30 A.M., March 19, 2013 for the following projects: SAP 051-610-015 - from TH 91 to CSAH 28 SAP 051-612-014 - from CSAH 28 to CSAH 30 SAP 051-628-016 - from CSAH 10 to CSAH 12 SAP 051-629-029 - from CSAH 12 to CSAH 48 SAP 051-630-022 - from CSAH 12 to CSAH 48 These five projects are all tied together in one Contract. Major quantities of work include: Aggregate Shouldering Cl I 9,670 Ton Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course 20,070 Ton Striping 156,235 Lin Ft Mill Bituminous Surface 336 Sq Yd All bids shall be made on forms included in proposal and shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond, made payable to Murray County Treasurer in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, which security becomes the property of the County in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and post satisfactory bond. The proposed contract is subject to minimum wage rates set forth by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and incorporated into the Specifications. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
