Jerry Ramerth, the son of Frederick and Esther Kunerth Ramerth, was born on August 8, 1937 in Graham Lakes Township, Nobles County, Minnesota. He grew up on the family farm and attended country school. He moved with his family to Worthington in 1949 and graduated from the Worthington High School in 1956. He then enlisted in Army Reserves and did his basic training in Ft. Leonardwood, MO and Military Police training in Ft. Gordon, GA. Jerry was united in marriage to Cleone Thompson on June 19, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN. After their marriage they farmed in Graham Lakes Twp. until 1977 when he followed his passion for aviation and worked as a commercial and Ag Pilot. Jerry and Cleone established Ramerth Aerial Spraying and Ramerth Ag Service in Fulda. He retired from flying in 2002. Jerry passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington, MN at the age of 75. He was a charter member of the Fulda Area Credit Union and its first CEO. Jerry also belonged to the Dakota League, Minnesota Aerial Applicators Association, National Aerial Applicators Association and the Worthington Gun Club. He enjoyed all aspects of aviation, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his hunting trips to Montana, Colorado and Idaho. Along with Prairie Dog hunting in South Dakota, fishing trips to Canada and trap shooting with his family and friends. Jerry’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of his life.

Survivors include his wife Cleone Ramerth of Fulda, MN; six children and their spouseating. Special music by Kristi and Dan Robinson. The pallbearers were his grandchildren. Internment at Ransom Township Cemetery rural Rushmore, MN.
