Holds special meeting to review the 2012 audit

March 21, 2013

Fulda City Council
The Fulda City Council met Monday night for a special meeting to review the 2012 audit. The audit was presented by Steve Haugen of Gerber & Haugen. The city had a total of $402,939.49 in assets in 2012 compared to $313,786.70 in 2011. Total liabilities and fund equity was $402,939.49 including $76,159.95 in an unassigned fund. That fund balance will be the object of many discussions between now and June 30th.

Gary Hogan requested water service on the east side of Highway 59. He would be charged the cost of hooking into the water line and paying double the water rate for being outside the city.

An Off Sale Liquor License application was approved for Graff's Liquor.

Police Chief Paul Kenney has estimates for the demolition of the Oddson property on Highway 59. Two bids were received. Gass Trenching was $6,037.00 and Beeck’s Gravel & Excavating for $4,100.00. The Gass Trenching was approved because it included the removal of hazardous material.

The city approved an ad in the Murray County Visitor Guide for their building lots.

The next regular meeting is April 1 at 7:00 pm.
