After nearly three weeks of bad weather with snow, freezing rain, and sleet keeping the area golfers off the course and practicing indoors, the Fulda boys golf team finally was able to play a round of golf this past Thursday afternoon, competing against the golf teams from Southwest United, and Hills-Beaver Creek. The meet was held at the Prairie View Golf Links in Worthington, and the Fulda boys won the meet with a score of 209. 2nd place went to Southwest United (210) with HBC (239) finishing in 3rd.

Medalist for the meet was Fulda’s Cole Dierks with a stellar round of 40 that included four pars and one birdie. His round was easily the best of the meet as the 2nd place golfer, who was from SWU finished 5 strokes back with a 45, and Todd Peterson from Fulda came in 3rd with a 46.

Other golfers scoring for Fulda were 8th graders Justin Dierks (60) and Brandon Everett (63).
