Fulda Wood Duck Kiddie Parade honors Fulda Lionís 50 years of service

Winners
Returning to the Festival this year was the, much missed, Friday evening Kiddie Parade. Children of all ages dressed in costumes ranging from lions to zoo keeper to ballerinas to tractor drivers for the two block parade. Line up and judging took place at St. Paulís School playground with approximately 70 children in attendence.

The parade path followed Baltimore Street to the Vi and Maynard Larson band shell and then through the park on the sidewalk where cheers could be heard for all participants as they passed proud parents and grandparents.

The parade committee, spearheaded by Jasmine Lund, came up with 6 winning categories.

Best Wheels: Mara Stoa and Grant Isder

Best Costume (5 years old and younger): Caleb Appel

Best Costume (6 years old - sixth grade): Logan Erdmann

Most Original (girl): Addison Speckmier

Most Original (boy): Keegan Lee

Best Group: Superheros for Sight - promoting Lions collecting glasses; Asher Anderson, Rebekah Anderson, Micah Anderson, Max Miller and Malcolm Miller

Judges for the event were Arlan Swanson, Wilma Lindquist, Pat Bos. Awards were presented by Miss Fulda, Laura Williams.
