Thursday, July 18, 1963

Pearce Bramer passed away from a coronary thrombosis, which occurred on Thursday afternoon. Mr. Bramer was 76 years old.

Mrs. Lona Kremer passed away at the age of 71 years old on Tuesday evening after having surgery for gall stones and gall bladder on Sunday evening.

Mrs. Vic Hendel has returned to the Worthington hospital after spending about two weeks at McKennan in Sioux Falls. She is coming along as well as can be expected.

Alvina Kass and Gary Beckman announce their engagement. No definite wedding date has been planned.

Funeral services are pending for Mrs. Martha Beckman who passed away Tuesday evening at the Worthington hospital.

Baskets of garden glowers were the setting for the marriage of Barbara Lundeen and Raymond Schuster on Saturday, July 13th at Immanuel American Lutheran Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Enninga are the parents of a son, born July 9th in Slayton. Grandparents include Mrs. Fred Enninga.

Mr. and Mrs. Runia are the parents of a daughter born July 15th. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Gunderman.

Mrs. Leonard Nemmers returned home Friday after having surgery in Slayton.

Ronnie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kirchner underwent an emergency appendectomy at Slayton late Saturday evening.

Frank Kuehl was taken to the Slayton hospital on Tuesday suffering from flu and pneumonia symptoms.

Thursday, July 21, 1983

Mrs. Mary Hogan held her annual piano recital featuring 49 of her students.

Postmaster Ed Balt presented Safe Driving awards to postal carriers Phil Elskamp and Harold Haar this week.

Lorene Atwood, 78, passed away Thursday, July 14th in Worthington. Ms. Atwood was the Dundee-Kinbrae correspondent for the Fulda Free Press for the past 13 years.

The Fulda Boy Scout Troop 123 spent the past week at Lewis and Clark Boy Scout Camp in South Dakota earning merit badges.

The Fulda crew recently completed two horseshoe courts in the City Park.

Continued extreme heat with no precipitation reduced topsoil moisture supplies during the week, according to the Minnesota Agricultural Statistics Services.

Gail Marotzke and Geoffrey Miller were united in marriage at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Worthington on July 2nd.

Rosemary Holinka and Edward Schweigert were united in marriage on July 2nd at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda with the Father Donald Loosbrock officiating.

Celebrating birthdays at Maple Lawn Nursing Home are Paul Heinrichs, Emma Sundermeyer, Amanda Jorgenson, Louise Zins, Bill Leopold and Eunice Tayler.

Twin daughters were born to Mr. and Mrs. Steven Horn on July 12th. Grandparents include Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Kriel and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Horn.

Victor A. Steinman passed away on July 11th at the age of 90 years old.

Lorene J. Atwood passed away on July 14th at the age of 78 years old.

Dundee to celebrate Nothing Days on July 30, 31. A road race will be part of the festivities.

Andrea Odenbrett and Steven Hogie were united in marriage on Saturday, April 24, 1993 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda with Father Gregory Leif officiating.

Julius Clausen passed away on July 10th at the age of 76 years old.

Greg Otkin received the William and Byrne Griffith Scholarship from SDSU.
