Monday and Tuesday last week
On Monday and Tuesday last week, the fifth and sixth grade students at St. Paulís Lutheran School attended Camp Omega, Waterville, Minnesota.

While at Camp Omega, the students learned about rockets and built their own from 2 liter bottles and twenty ounce bottles and duct tape. Although all of the rockets traveled a far distance, Alexa Dierkís rocket, Silas, traveled the furthest.

The students also learned how to build fires, shoot arrows and went canoing.

The Environmental Learning Program (ELP) at Camp Omega provides schools with a self-contained experiential environmental education program that enables students to grow in their faith, gain a deeper understanding of Godís creation and grow in their understanding of their role as stewards of His creation.
