Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall

July 10-13, 2014,
The Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall will be coming to Marshall, MN July 10-13, 2014, and will be on display at Independence Park, around the clock all four days.

The wall is dedicated to honor courage, sacrifice and devotion to duty and country by all who served. The Memorial Wall is 288 feet long at the center and is 6 feet high, tapering down at 144 feet. As of May 2009, there are 58,261 names on the Wall, including 1,082 Minnesotans.

Opening ceremony will be Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Council President of the Vietnam Vets of America (VVA), from Granite Falls,MN will speak.

Everything is FREE and open to the public for the entire 4 days that the Wall will be on display. Assistance will be available on site for handicapped individuals.
