Front Porch Music Series postponed until 2021; Museum and End-O-line Park opening June 16

The 2020 Front Porch Music Series is being postponed until 2021. The health and safety of our audience and the performers are first in our consideration of this.  The Historical Society is thankful for the added flexibility of the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council Legacy grant. The grant deadline has been extended into 2021 allowing for postponement without loss of funds. The same bands will be on deck for next summer’s concerts. We all look forward to the time we can gather and enjoy some good live music.

Following the new guidelines set by Minnesota, the Murray County Museum will be opening to the public by appointment on June 16th. Researchers and visitors are welcome to call ahead at 507-836-6533 or email museum@co.murray.mn.us Tours of the Dinehart House, Wornson cabin, and Sierk Agricultural building are still postponed until a later date.

The Murray County Museum will be open by appointment Tuesday through Friday from 10-5. If you must come on a Saturday, call early to set up an appointment so staff can plan for it.
