Fulda Fire Department was a recent recipient of a $3,000 Emergency Response Equipment Grant from Compeer Financial. The money has been used to purchase eight new Swissphone s.QUAD Voice pagers.
Fulda Fire Chief David Baumhoefner stated, “The Swissphone s.QUAD Voice pagers are replacing the Motorola Minitor V 5 pagers that we had been using. They were old enough, that like most electronics, we were having problems with them. The new pagers are slim-lined with rounded edges and no buttons so that they are easier to carry. They don’t get caught on clothing or seat belts in a vehicle.”
