Fulda FCCLA Members serve the community

Greetings from Fulda FCCLA! With National FCCLA Week completed last week, FCCLA members would like to give an update on some of the projects they have been working hard on, in order to make the Fulda community and surrounding area a better place to live. FCCLA members each complete service projects designed to help at different levels, local, state, and national levels. Here is a sampling of some of the projects completed by FCCLA members this year.

In November, FCCLA members partnered with Fulda FFA members to go serve at The Banquet in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Fulda students woke up early to go prepare and serve a delicious breakfast meal to over 200 homeless and underprivileged people in Sioux Falls. FCCLA and FFA members were tasked with cooking up breakfast pizza, eggs, bacon, and other breakfast essentials, serving coffee, milk, and water, doing the dishes, and cleaning up the kitchen and dining area when finished.
