A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY

March 24, 2020 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present in person Commissioners Jens and Welgraven. Present via phone were Commissioners Gunnink and Thiner. Also present in person were Thomas Burke and Amy Rucker. Travis Smith joined the meeting via phone.

MSP to approve the agenda.

MSP to approve the minutes from the March 17, 2020 meeting with changes.

Open Forum: There was no one present for Open Forum.

MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for Judicial Ditches No. 7, 11, 12, 17, 20, and 26

MSP to approve the ditch inspection report for County Ditch 51.

MSP to declare the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Unit #14 as surplus property, further moving to authorize it for sale via eBay. MSP to approve the purchase of a new HP server from TCMI for $7,741 to be paid from account 01-061-061-0000-6480 (price includes $250 integration fee and is less than the current state bid). MSP to approve the committee reports for March 8 through 21, 2020. MSP to accept the resignation of Amy Rucker, Economic Development Director, effective May 1, 2020, and to express appreciation for Rucker’s service to the County. MSP to approve hiring Kayla Pring as a regular part-time Dispatcher/Jailer in the Sheriff Department contingent upon satisfactory results of a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test. MSP to approve hiring Howard Konkol as a seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker in the Parks Department contingent upon satisfactory results of a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test. MSP to approve hiring Kolby Frisk as a seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker in the Parks Department contingent upon satisfactory results of a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug test. MSP approve the bids for projects SP 051-602-020, SP 051-603-016, SP 051-606-019, SP 051-610-016, and SP 051-640-004 and award the bid to Duininck, Inc. in the amount of $2,847,158.05 and approve the bids for SAP 051-603-017 and SAP 051-636-007 and award the bid to Duininck, Inc. in the amount of $757,945.90. The meeting was adjourned.
