Fulda School Board Board discusses sharing sports

The Fulda School Board met December 11 and approved the consent agenda, which included two open enrollments into the Fulda district. The Worlds Best Workforce plan was approved by the board. The plan was put together by an advisory committee with input from the December 4 public meeting. A long-term substitute teacher contract for Marcine Elder.

Colby Pack, Athletic Director, spoke of a meeting that they have had a meeting with Heron Lake Schools athletic department about sharing some sports including football, golf, track and baseball. Pack said that they are also considering what is best for our kids well being. Some ideas where talked about where practice and games would be held. The idea of splitting the home games with practice held at the school who was hosting that weeks sporting event. The vote will take place at the January Board meeting.
