Fulda School Board Fulda School Board hires jr. high coaches

Fulda’s School Board met for their October meeting on Monday evening in the Fulda High School Library. A contract with Doug White was approved and he is the new Junior High Girls Basketball Coach. A contract with Brad Holinka was approved by the board. Holinka has been hired as the Head Track Coach, the Jr. High Football Coach, and the Jr. High Boys Basketball Coach.

The Fulda Independent School District 505 Local World’s Best Workforce Plan was approved by the school board. The World’s Best Workforce Plan (state statute, section 1208.11) is a comprehensive, long-term strategic plan to support and improve teaching and learning with the ultimate goal of creating the world’s best workforce. It is intended to serve as a foundational document that aligns educational initiatives that serve students pre-k through high school.

Approval was given to the Fulda FFA Chapter to conduct a Corn Drive for Camp Courage – True Friends. The 2017 FFA Corn Drive is planned for Wednesday, October 18th, with a back-up date of October 25th.  Since 1964, the Fulda FFA Chapter has donated $30,137.63 to Camp Courage – True Friends.
