Music of the holidays performed by Fulda High School students

More than 100 Fulda High School students performed the music of the holidays at Monday evening’s Holiday Choir Concert, directed by Matt Saxman.

Sixty-two students make up the Junior High Choir. They sang “Peaceful River”, which is a  Partner Song with “I’ve Got Peace Like a River”.

“Do You Hear What I Hear” was also performed by the Junior High Choir as was “Christmas in Tahiti”.

Carlos Meza was featured as a vocal soloist. He sang “Santa Tell Me”. Taryn Evers and Kelli Renneke provided percussion for this solo.

The Raider Serenaders sang a Christmas medley featuring “The Christmas Song”, “It’s the most Wonderful Time of the Year”, and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”.

In a duet, Dora Rodriguez and Carlos Meza performed “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”. This song is from the 1949 film Neptune’s Daughter.

Four songs sung by the Senior High Choir gave even more reasons to enjoy the music of the season. They performed “You’re Gonna Miss Me”, “I’m Yours”, “The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth”, and “Sending You a Little Christmas”.
