Kelli Renneke made eight free throws and Addison Fisher scored five two-point field goals to lead the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda C-Squad girls’ basketball team to a 29-27 victory over Murray County Central at Slayton last Monday, February 10.
Renneke was eight-of-12 at the line and also netted a trio of two-point baskets to finish with a team-leading 14 points. Fisher added three free throws as she tallied 13 points for the Coyotes, who improved their C-Squad season record to 4-5.
Foreign-exchange student Helma Poeppel scored HLOF’s other two points in the victory.
