School Board approves summer projects

During the Monday evening March School Board meeting, the summer project was approved for Fulda Elementary School  that includes replacing windows on the older portion of the school, and some stone work.

Eric Schwankl, Education Consultant with Southwest West Central Service Cooperative, Marshall, MN was present to provide information on a curriculum collaborative that the school board had asked about. A contract for SWWC to provide services for the curriculum collaborative was approved.Also approved was the fiscal  year 2020 – 2023 Achievement and Integration Plan. It is part of District 505’s Best Workforce Plan.

In the consent agenda, a part-time teaching contract with Carlene Holmes, for the remainder of the 2019-2020 year, was approved. Also approved was a paraprofessional contract with Allison Rasche, and a part-time custodian contract with David Schweigert.

A Letter of Engagement with Drealan Kvilhaug Hoefker and Co, P.A. to Conduct  the Audit of the District’s Finances for the 2019-2020 year was reviewed and approved.

A revised budget for fiscal year 2020 was presented, reviewed and approved.
