Worthington came to town on Thursday night and tangled with the Raiders. Worthington’s defense stood out in the 65-34 win over Fulda.
Fulda started trying to keep pace with the Trojans. Matthias Kunerth came down the middle for a two-point bucket, 3-2. Worthington got in stride and put together a 16-1 run stifling the Raider offensive unit.
Kunerth dropped in a three-pointer and later Ben White moved along the line to add additional basket, 10-24. Justin Dierks converted on one-of-two from the line and then added back-to-back layups off steals to push Fulda’s score to 19-34 by the midway point of the contest.
